Silkie thread!

Shredded cheese works on them better than anything else I've tried. Just don't give very much or very often. It is salty and they shouldn't have much.

If I need to catch one quickly with no fuss, I toss a bit of cheese down at my feet and wait for the victim to get close enough to pick up. Less stressful than the fish net. They know what the net is and run if they see it.

I absolutely love silkies, even though we don't have any :barnie I saw one at the feed store we go to for 20$ but it was a black rooster. We cant have silkies let alone roosters :hit How we'll do they behave around people?

It's mostly her flight feathers and her silkie parts that are lighter shade. Here's another photo.

Mine are quite friendly. Some a bit too much as they follow me all over and get underfoot.
