Is she being overgroomed by others? Some of my EEs look like that because others pluck her beard out.

She doesn't have the wattles that the non-bearded get.

One of my pullets was walking around the run this morning and scratching in all the corners looked like she was trying to find a place to make a nest so I blocked corners and put plastic eggs in the place I want her to lay now she is sitting on the plastic eggs. I look for eggs every day and no one has layed. Will she go broody without laying an egg and should I take the plastic eggs away?

Hi. I have a 2 month old splash girl? That is having leg problems suddenly. I already tried vitamin b without much success after 24 hrs. It is small and gets pushed off food a bit. I have her inside now. Anything silkies are known to have problems with? I was thinking about trying E and selenium next but shes not really having neck problems.

I have never had one go broody that wasn't laying and usually they will brood after a year old.
