I had one crow two days ago that is only 4 weeks old! Well,... if you could call it a crow.. sounded more like someone was strangling him! LOL. I was shocked to say the least, but fortunately DH was in the living room near the brooder when he did it, so we know who it was. Now to figure out the other 4!

I have one crowing right now that sounds darn awful!! It's in a pen of juvies and I have 4 that look so much a like I can't tell which one it is! The earliest I've had one crow was about 8-10 weeks *I think*. My memory kinda stinks nowadays trying to keep all these birds straight! Thank goodness for records!! I just remember being shocked because he was so tiny! Average around my house is probably closer to 5 months but it depends on the actual birds and where they came from or what breeder they were hatched from. Also I'm sure there is variance amongst the different lines each breeder has. I'm not far enough into breeding my own birds to notice any trends but it'll be interesting when I do!

Anywho!! They are so cute when they crow early because of the squeaky weirdness that always comes out! It's always fun playing the "what the heck was that and who the heck was that" game

I thought you meant you only want the roo and you'll get rid of the others. I was confused since I always hear ppl crossing their fingers for no boys! I lost a lavender juvie the other day, I was really hoping it was going to be my next lavender roo. It was the weirdest thing when I found it. Looked like it broke it's neck falling from the ramp? IDK!

Glad to help

My mother was psyched to learn how to turn a computer on about 5 years ago. Now she's pretty darn good at looking things up but she can't really grasp emailing some stuff and how a lot of programs work. My generation for the most part probably was the first to be raised using computers so I'd call that an unfair advantage!

I wasn't around to help my mom but she was determined. She called me all excited like "I did it! I turned it on and now it's ready!!" Followed by "NOW WHAT?!?" haha!

I talked her thru a lot over the phone. That was really... interesting lol

"Ok mom now right click... what do you mean click what mom? Click the right button. Yes mom on the mouse! Two buttons...click the right one. No mom only once, just click it. No mom don't hold it just click it!"
