Silkie thread!

Well the roo in one of my Silkies is showing itself for sure now. My question is do I need to put him by himself now or is he okay to continue to raise with the others three of which I'm pretty sure are pullets. Two I'm still not 100% but I'm thinking pullets as well... it would be ideal for me to have only one roo to deal with.)

well today one of my little 7 week old white silkie got killed

not sure how i was gone to town to get my daughter because she got sick at school. some how it had gotten into the other coop where there are LF chickens and a mean rooster so do not know if they pecked it to death or not i could not get a good look i have to wait till hubby come home so he can go and get it out of the other coop. the runs are 8 feet tall so how can a little silkie get that far up and in the other run. i do not go in the other coop because of the rooster that is why he is going to be my dinner this weekend. he use to be sweet then lately he has become mean.

OMG the little chick is still breathing but all bloody does she or he still have a chance or should i put it out of its mysery. i went outside and it was up and moving and by the time i could get to her the big ones pounced on her again but she is still breathing and trying to move. i knew i should have went in the first time i saw her or him laying there but my daughter was with me and they are her chickens and i was not going to upset her i made alot of noise and it would not move at all so i thought it was dead 30 min later it was up and running when i went outside i try to get to it but not in time. what should i do for it try to help it survive even though its head is all bloody and bairly moving or put it out of mystery this is the first for me

First off, it needs to be separated. I thought I lost a chick back in 2010 because all the chickens jumped on it. Once I got her out, I put her by herself just to see what would happen. She looked bad, but soon enough, she ate and she lived. I still have little Lucy too.
