Silkie thread!

I would love to see pics of your M Best Gray pair!
My M Best Gray Silkie pair are five and a half months now. I'm thinking they are very light Grays. They are changing in color though.  They are getting prettier.
I hope M Best attends the Spring show in Monroe in March. She is such a wealth of information and the nicest lady. I would like to get more birds from her before she retires.

Hey TurtlePowerTrav! I would love to look at images of the Blue next to the Black.  Post lots of comparison full body shots of both. My favoritess game is to play 'Guess the Sex!' Hah! :D

Binkus and Stinkus. Female on the left and male on the right. I trimmed their muffs and crests because they are in a breeding pen and I feed FF. I bought them from M Best when they were three and half months old. They are now almost 6 months. Their back coloring is beautiful chinchilla gray.

I'm going to advertise this lady on Craigslist. Hoping you are all with me that she's a hen. I was wondering if she would be SQ? I don't plan to get into the NB variety so she needs a new home. Plus she's buff. No offense but it's not my favorite of the silkie colors. She's still a baby and full of pin feathers so she's not too fluffy right now.

Here's the next question. I need help naming my hens colors. Maybe this will help me figure out what color the new babies will be. We're up to 18 now!

Is it a fault that she has a brown eye also?
