I wouldn't worry too much about it. As Little critters mentioned earlier, horns are considered a defect and not a DQ.Words of wisdom from the breeder and I will take her word for it!!
As we all know, combs come in all different shapes and sizes and as long as it's not a single comb, it's not a big deal to worry about. Which means I won't worry about this guys horns anymore. You can breed away from these things.
And you have to keep in mind when choosing a bird for breeding that 1) NO bird is going to be perfect and 2) type must be your first and foremost consideration.
So, I feel better now about Ace's horns.Now I just need to wait until Saturday for the Congress show. Hopefully I can find him a nice lady to add to my flock.![]()
