Silkie thread!

Even though I cannot see them, I am pretty sure they are. She has all the symptoms describing mites face. I started with natural remedies but unfortunately it did not work or helped out.

Have you thought of a bacterial skin infection? Would make sense that nothing is helping. That is why I posted the douxo.

No I haven't. I could give a shot to that shampoo, thanks. It is really expensive though

but knowing myself I will probably end up buying it lol. I don't want to think on how much I have been spending since she is sick

Yes definitely. I avoid giving corn for my whites. I think it is the marigold or something like this.
I thought so. My white cochin is looking a little yellow. Has to be the corn. I will have to put an end to that if I plan on showing him!

Hello, I'm new to silkies so please forgive me if I sound silly. I have noticed that some have large puffs on their heads while others are much smaller and don't cover the eyes. Are those different types of silkies? Also I'm from central NJ and would like to know where I could get some nice ones that are not hatchery. I've been researching here and have read about s- shapes, balance between head and body, tight wings, feathered feet, and it intrigues me. My favorite colors are paint or splash, white, and cream. They are amazing little birds!
