Silkie thread!

[Chicken creek]

This is my buff silkie rooster. I am keeping one silkie rooster per color and was wondering if he looked good enough to keep as my breeding rooster. Thanks!!

He looks nice. His comb is a little to red for my taste. How is his eye color and skin color? Sometimes buffs, especially clean ones, can go a little on the light side.

his comb is more red that my other roosters. He has med/dark brown eyes and lighter blue/black skin. the next best rooster I have has more of a purplish comb, but he has less of a beard than this one.

Here is a picture of one of our boys. He is just pet quality but really fun and a great little chicken. It's nice to have a rooster my son isn't afraid of.

Hothouse are mine, as you can see hardly any smut on my girls my rooster had a bit more, waiting to see what we get from a breeding.
