Hi Guys,
Here I am again :) A friend of mine got these two for me from a local breeder, so again I am going to ask you for your thoughts on these two :) They were hatched in Nov. 2012, not sure if they are to young to sex still. Also is the lighter of the two a Porcelain? They have all their toes with good spacing, so just let me know ya'lls thoughts.
Thanks so much :)

Porcelain?? (I'm so grumpy, I want to be outside eating and playing, not being a model!) :)

It very possibly could be porcelain as there is a wide range of color in a project like this. The buff may show up later or it may have too much lav in it. Just too young to tell.

Oh man...! Two weeks with no internet after my laptop died and I have over 500 new messages to read! LOL Yikes!

Do any of you guys have birds from Bobbi Porto? I'm thinking of ordering eggs from her in the near future and I'd love to see how some of these birds have turned out.

The woman who sold me Toulouse is going to take the first free batch of eggs to tell me if they develop, then I will sell some more as I collect them each week. I can let you know how they do

I'm thinking right after I move Toulouse out I will let Nori sit on a few to hatch, should be warm enough by then.

Does $1 per egg sound reasonable or should I go less? I'm not very familiar with hatching eggs, but I see them go for more than that.

I was planning on ordering silkies from Cj for this Spring. I live in Mass, near Boston. I know the minimum to order is 6 , and she is adding extra 2. I want to have a couple of Bantam Cochins too so I realized 8 silkies would be too many. Would any one in my area , near Woburn Mass, Boston, care to buy a few Silkies ? Let me know. Michele

Hi, I'm not sure if anyone has replied to your note. I would suggest keeping all the silkie chicks until you are able to sex them. There is a good chance that 50% or more could turn out to be roosters. Once you figure out which are the girls vs boys, then you could decide which to rehome. Just a thought...
