Thanks. The lady who sold him to me sure didn't know what she was doing... She said he was SQ...

Anyways, I don't have a name for him yet. Any ideas?

Yeah, sometimes people don't know what they're talking about....or will tell you stories if you don't know what you're looking at.
I just went and picked up 3 chicks, found them on Craigslist. Advertised as SQ, but once I saw the parents.....no show quality there! lol I didn't really care because I picked up the chicks for my broody hen. In another few weeks, they'll go to new homes.

You should name your rooster Hercules.

i have 13 eggs under my silkie hen. none of them are poking out...they are standard size exept for 4 of them

I've been showing Silkies for 2 years. The 1st year I got 5th place and 4th place. The 2nd year I got 4th place again and 2nd place. Well, 2 years isn't that long. I guess I still have things to learn. I already have a rooster named Hercules. Actually, the red rooster in there was Hercules!
