Silkie thread!

I've heard a lot about wry neck in silkies. I got some polyvisol to head it off before it can start. I have a lone chick and I think her waterer will hold about 1/4 cup water. How much polyvisol should I put in the water?

I read someone's comment on Vit E in the yogurt, I will be doing this too, but I need to know amounts on the polyvisol please?
Does your chick have wry neck? or is it a precaution? if it's a precaution you can put a few drops in the water.

I want to have some on hand- but I can't find any! Have looked at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, grocery stores.

We just don't have it in the Chattanooga area that I can find. Maybe, I'll try Babies-Are-Us

Just a precaution. Every once in a while she will kind of wobble her head around and I've never seen any of my other young birds do that exact move before so I figured I better get on the ball right away before her head hits the floor.

I got some sand today too so the shavings are out. Hopefully soon I won't see any sneezing.

I found mine at CVS. I had to ask for it. I had looked at the children's health care isle and saw all the gummie vitamins etc., but didn't see this stuff. I was looking for a bottle. I asked the pharmacist and they pointed it out... on the bottom shelf, in a box, laying down! Made me feel like an idiot but at least I got some. Maybe ask the pharmacist in your local store?
