I want to have some on hand- but I can't find any! Have looked at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, grocery stores.

We just don't have it in the Chattanooga area that I can find. Maybe, I'll try Babies-Are-Us

It's in with the baby vitamins, medications, etc. Our CVS had it; Walmart has it over with the regular vitamins, in addition to the with iron stuff. Purple box; around $10. If you don't see it, ask the pharmacist. It's a commercial product; they will have it.

Day 2 was not so good. She is more easily distressed when she wants to move around and can't. I got the selenium. She will periodically hold her head up, but now she's more or less laying with her head upside down all the time.

Has anyone used prednisone? I am loathe to kill her immune system, but outside of seeing an improvement soon, I feel like I'm running out of options.

Anyone have a suggested dosage for asprin? I have the low dose and wonder if some pain relief might help.

It just makes me soooo sad to see her like this.

Another point of interest- I'd love to hear what color eggs your girls are laying! My friend has a black show quality girl that usually lays dark brown (like maran dark brown) eggs. Anyone else? Her's came from Glen See, so they are not mixed.

Mine only laid the cream colored egg; they were buffs.

I lost the 4 week old Splash chick today. Pretty sure it too a peck to the head from one of the cockerels in the pen next to the chick pen. Its head was right up against the fencing that separates them. Bummer. But I am getting 3 more Blue's this weekend.

Oh how sad! Can't wait to see the blues, pics please!
