Oh, maybe. I have no idea what a calico chick would look like. Never seen one.

Whites usually hatch yellowish. Chicks 10 and 5 look white now, that's what splash chicks look like when they hatch.

I believe so, it makes a nice pure white color, no gold leakage

No symptoms. They were about a week old. They were in their brooder with a heat lamp which was very warm (not too warm but also had space to get away from it) medicated chick feed

Hello, never posted on this thread before, but I was wondering if anyone could tell me what colors these silkie chicks are going to be. And even possible sex. I know they are probably way too young to sex, but they are getting some random colors. They are 4 weeks old, Mom was White, Dad was a Blue Splash. Got them from someone local. #1 The smallest of the bunch, I'm sure this one is a Partridge #2 #3 #4, I think this is a Splash
