Here is one of my paint growing up nicely.

Robo- not sure how old he is...less than a year. He has a better wing tuck. He has them low and panting- It's hot down here in GA!

He's a fancy guy!

I thought Silkies couldn't be sexed until 3+ months? Are these ones that are being posted at 2 months super obvious? I haven't really looked into how you can tell the difference yet, since I didn't think I'd have a chance of telling with mine yet.

I really depends on the bird. I can sometimes tell at 6 weeks and others not until 6 mos.

Hey silkie peeps. I'm working on my new coop and run. We're going to use sand. The kinds we have available are masonry sand, concrete sand, and white beach sand. Will any of these work? Thanks for all your help!

Avoid fine sand. It sticks to everything. Love my river sand!

Looks like a grey to me.

This little silkie was hatched May 20th. I am wondering what color it is & any guesses on male/ female? Thanks !

He looks very small in this picture? Is he small or does the angle just make him look tiny?
