How did you get it's feet so white? Myn always stay a bit brown. Very pretty bird!!

Well they are still a bit yellow (dragon lady just suggested using baby talcum powder when they are still a bit damp to get rid of that) but I use a whitening dog shampoo. Today I used "Top Performance Baking soda plus" shampoo, then "Bio-groom super white" shampoo and I let it sit for a few minutes while scrubbing.
 
I know this sounds silly but how would you give then a bath? I Didn't think it was good to bathe them? An I wrong? I was told this.. I have regular chickens right now but am getting 2 silkies in a day or two....
 
Some of my silkies are getting bumps at the base of their beaks. Does this mean they are roos, or can hens have the bumps too? That's what a comb is, isn't it?

I need to get pics, but we have company from out of town so it might be a bit before I can.
