Silkie thread!

HELP!!! I got 2 new, year old buff silkie bantams, and they are very scared of me. i have to have help with picking them up, and my roo is already showing some 'interest' in them. I don't know how to get them to not be so scared (they are like the size of kittens, newborn) and I need some advice!

I have never heard of year old Silkies the size of newborn kittens. I would put them in a small pen. Handle them frequently.

I had to bandaid boot the Silkie chick. Middle toe was curled a little bit. Should correct in a day or two.

Wow! And I thought my Silkies were too small!

The little Buff? Good catch. Sometimes it's hard to catch that in broody hatched chicks. Come to think of it. I've never seen a curled toe in a broody hatched chick.

anybody have any idea what color chicks you might get from a lavender roo over blue hen?

One of the peeps has a red spot on its toe and another chick was pecking at it , what to do I hate to separate it.
