She's white. Like PURE white when she's not getting muddy. Lol! I'm pretty good with the colors. I've got a paint too with her.

ok! I love the whites!

so you sortof have my colors, but opposite breeds? that's neat!

my favorite silkie color though is black, because its so dark!

look at his crest! truly beautiful! my roo is only 7 months.....doesn't have a crest like that!

do you think his will get puffy or no?


then again, I think my silkie is beardless.....but is my hen?

It may but not much probably. My little pullet has BIG crest for her age.

The pullet is nicely bearded. Your cockerel looks to be of hatchery stock. Possibly a non bearded crossed with a bearded.

ok! yes they did come from my breeder who has both....so that may just be the case!

How adorable! This is my first winter with chickens and about a month and a half ago, I got 3 silkie chicks, they are now 12 weeks and just getting there feathers. I don't have a white one, but I may have to get one to add to mine! I have a black one, a buff one and not sure of the correct color of the 3rd, but I think its splash? (kinda looks calico).
