So I am thinking of dyeing my white silkies to tell them apart, maybe just a dot of koolaid or food coloring. I don't like leg bands. Since they love baths and blow dryers, I figured being a different color might actually be an enjoyable experience for them. Any opinions? Please go easy on me, Im just curious about it. I'm the first person to yell at someone for doing something stupid and cruel to their animals, so Im not thinking about doing this lightly.

so happy. Hopefully the other one starts laying so I can start incubating in a couple weeks
I have a hen and a roster at the moment and I have 9 silkie eggs in the incubator. I hope to add to my slkie collection
