Silkie thread!

A few nights ago I was able to catch our 9 to 10 week old Silkie named Monte (a rooster we think) learning how to crow.
The sound you'll hear directly after the first one is our dog Saddie reacting and me trying to suppress laughter!

stop feeding them onions, it is poisonous to chickens.
Can you buy chicken feed? You can make some daal without spices to feed them while you try to find chicken feed.

Ok thanka and plzz tell me what should be given for legs problem my chick cant stand :(

I picked up some chick grit today and the lady there told me that chicks were not suppose to have grit till they were at least 2 weeks old? Should I wait or start giving it to them now? They are 6 days old today.
I agree with subhanalah. I've heard that you need to feed grit if the chicks will be free ranging to ensure they can digest anything they happen to eat out there. It is less important if you are only feeding them chick feed.

How to give polyvisol to 3 months old chick? My chick cant stand plzz tell
I found alot of options to give electrolites. I found vit-al at the local ifa store and its just a powder you put in their water. It has some vitamins in it, and its suppose to keep them hydrated better. I put just a tiny pinch in their 1quart waterer and change the water everyday since electrolites spoil. I also got the polyvisol in the infant section at walmart and childrens pedialite which also has electrolites. Im only going to use one of those in their water and put the polyvisol directly in the beak of my lethargic chicks. I dont know what itll do for your chick that wont stand as I dont know what her situation is. I have a week old chick who doesent like to walk either, and im still trying to figure out whats wrong with him, and i just started giving him polyvisol just to see if it helps. Giving it to him is fairly simple. I use a seringe or my finger and let a tiny drop form on the tip of it and then put it on the very tip or side of the beak (careful to avoid nostrils). Works better if the beak is already slightly opened. It just gets sucked right into their mouth and they immidiately tilt their head back and swallow. I do this with maybe 3 drops then stop. Im doing it a few times a day and making sure he can reach his food/water at all times.
