I currently have two hens sitting on a total of 10 eggs, they've been sitting on them for 4 days so far, tomorrow a friend is giving me four more eggs, will it be bad to put them under the hens since their own eggs are going to hatch out 4 days earlier than the new eggs? Will this cause any issues for the mamas or the chicks? This will only be my second hatch so I'm still learning. Please let me know what you think.

The only problem would be if the you put the 4 eggs under a hen with eggs 4 days older, when they hatch first the mother will most likely not sit on the nest for a couple more days so I would try to squeeze 10 eggs under the bigger hen if possible and the 4 new ones under the other hen.

I just keep hatching out the strangest colored chicks from my blue partridge trio! Here are the four chicklets from the most recent hatch. Do you think the darkest one is still a partridge?

I just keep hatching out the strangest colored chicks from my blue partridge trio! Here are the four chicklets from the most recent hatch. Do you think the darkest one is still a partridge?

The first one looks like a splash. The others are so unique though! The 3rd kinda looks like a partridge. Since I'm still kinda new to all this breeding stuff (reading about it) I'm not sure weather or not that's possible. Gonna be beauties either way!

Not necessarily the flu, but they probably have some sort of respiratory illness. If you search, you will find lots of information! How do you know it has a chest infection?

The first is a splash, the 3rd is a partridge, and I'm guessing the 4th is a blue partridge. But the second has me stumped! Out of my first hatch, I got 2 splash and the rest a very light blueish partridge (I think!) Below are chicks from the first hatch. They are all so different!
