Her left foot is curled under. It's from birth so I was told when we adopted her. I'm sure it probably could have been fixed had they tried , maybe they didnt know how, who knows. She gets around fine, and makes gorgeous babies that don't have the defect. I think it must have been an incubation issue and not genetic. She is almost 3 years old. The only issue she has, is she wont use the ramp, so she either gets treats in the coop or I take her out with the others when they free range. She doesnt go far though.![]()
She certainly is fluffy enough to stay warm in those cold Alaska winters - adorable!
Could anyone explain this silkie without feathered feet from TSC? I got it because it was a red one and thought I'd be cool to have one with out feathered legs! Does anyone have pictures of one like this grown up?![]()
