Question.....
I have a chick whose a few weeks old. Slow growth. It's feathers are missing under wing and on chest. It's head also is too. It's face is Odd. I put mite dust as precaution. It looks dried out. It's poor feet are also curled inward.

I have a nail polished egg pipped last time I checked...How deep is the crack ? You may need to tape it. I'd pop it back under her and see what happens. If you see any oozing , discard the egg.
would I be hung out to dry if I posted a picture of the egg zipping in my hand?I have a nail polished egg pipped last time I checked...

everyone is hatching too wet
Here he/she is! I was really worried about it, its been cracked since I got it and its air cell was way messed up through incubation.

Hatched completely unassisted too.
Yes, as a matter of fact I have 2 incubators, but I only use them as default. My hatch rate is always much better with a broody. Think of all the power I'm saving, 21 days incubation and 5-6 weeks of heat lamp.
