Silkie thread!

I just got a brinsea mini Eco and would love to hatch some show quality/ or show girl eggs. Can only take in 6-8 eggs in my incubator so I do not want a dozen. I would feel bad wasting them. No preference on color, but I wold love multiple colors if possible. Thank you so much. My silkie is an egg eater so I get no fertile eggs from her
I can send you a half dozen or so if you are interested.

This is darling. Lucky chickens, nice home, and treats as they walk out the front do
LL

i want to get those brown large chickens. I dont know hat they are called. Would a silkie be able to mate with one of those brown hgens.would a silkie sit on the eggs for the hen if she doesnt go broody?

I don't know what large brown hens you mean, but I have a couple of Silkie x Wyandotte (LF ) I call them wylkies. My silkies have hatched and reared Sussex, barnevelder and Wyandotte , all large fowl.

@workinanie - That is so precious!!! I love it when they take them in and they aren't even theirs.

@Suzierd - Me too! I like the contrast and the vibrant colors, she is a doll

@BobbieJo81 - Does West Virginia have the same kind of restrictions as Virginia? If not how many eggs are you looking for, my partridge pen are laying well right now?
Nope, none that I can find..Just realized we have interst in the same breeds :) I trained at a large Arabian barn for years and have 2 Arab cross mares --both rescues-- I also have my Manx cat--and her litter of 5 (only 2 Rumpies--the other 3 are all LT)
