Still no email from ideal. I should be getting the chicks tomorrow based on when the order said it would ship when I placed it. I guess if they dont come I should send an email.

Did anyone here order from ideal and never get an email letting you know they shiped?

If a black roo with silver leakage will darken the spots on paint chicks when bred to a paint hen, will a blue roo with silver leakage darken the splashes in splash chicks when bred to a splash hen? I have one of each lol


My other 2 boys are normal. The no Leakage bue goes with my BBS gilrs and the white boys with my whites

Here is the strangest one... watch her turn out the prettiest. She has a blue under coat, black leakage throughout the wings, & Buff / red all over. She is really scrappy looking... She is the smallest of the bunch and chooses to spar with the biggest of them all. She is always playing. I may call her Chaos.

I love her colors! I like "strange" coloring and patterns! She's adorable!

Here is the Splash or Lavender two that she sent. She wasn't sure what they would be as she has lav in with the BBS, but one is definitely going to be splash.
I LOVE THEM!

They are only 6 weeks old. They are by far the easiest to handle. The splash are coming around, and so is the pretty buff.

So cute! And pretty colors! Ok let's just say that I love all of them!

My partridge Silkie is turning 9 weeks old tomorrow!!! I have a thread open that I update with new pics every week trying to make sure she's a pullet!

Hmm. Really. My chicks were born April 29th (I think. They shipped out late on the 29th)! Of course I only have 1 partridge Silkie. The rest of the chicks are LF.

I think she had a bunch of hatch dates happening. It was a gamble that I even got mine last week with the weather and all. I love them all too. Thanks for all the comments. And lets keep our sisters in contact LOL!

Thanks! What in the world ARE you doing?! I'd go crazy with all those chicken! Wait....maybe not.....oh yeah yep.....I'd go crazy. I already have 18 pigeons, 4 chickens (getting 2 more tomorrow), 2 dogs, 2 lizards, 2 toads, 1 hermit crab and lots of fish.
