Yeah I think it's a lottery. Last spring I had a high ratio of pullets hatch and this season the pendulum has swung and lucky me I have 9 SLW cockerels.

My crazy little mixes. Pure silkie, mixed colors. I can't wait to see them grown. I know some people don't like to have mixed colors, but I think they are the cutest. Some are a month old, some 2 months.

Lol you guys are not the first to call her a creamsicle. That is funny! She is my favorite. I'm not sure if you all remember the little wry neck chick I taught to use a water bottle, but that is her.

Any help would be appreciated. ..have a silkie hatching. ..looks like 3/4 egg chipped away but still not out yet...48 hrs...still chirping. ..last time I tried to hatch assist they both died...
