I have a question and forgive me if this is a stupid question....
I ordered a frizzle Cochin bantam and she can in being smooth with is is normal right b/c when you have a frizzle hatch you get a 50/50 frizzle. And smooth hatch correct.? Well my question is I have her in with a silkie rooster so can she produce frizzle Cochin/sillies or will those be sizzles?

If shes smooth she cant pass on the frizzled gene. If shes frizzled and you cross them the chicks will just be silkie/cochin crosses. After multiple generations of breeding then they will be sizzles

She is smooth, which means she does not possess the frizzle gene. Which means she has no frizzle gene to pass on. No, you can not make frizzled chicks with her unless you pair her with a frizzled rooster. You could use her to make smooth Sizzles (some of my favorites)!
