I'd say you've got a lovely little girl.Gender help please? I think this is probably a girl but still not sure. Almost 4 months old. She's a little bigger than the other Silkie girls her age but a little smaller than the boys. I also don't see much of a comb under her crest but one of the boys doesn't have much of one either.

The last bird, which used to belong to me, is porcelain (or self blue cream). Which is buff diluted by lavender. At least, thats what it is in Silkies. Silkie breeders started calling them self blue (lavender) cream because they don't fit the typical criteria for that color, which I believe needs to include some mottling. She didn't have the best color, a little darker buff than prefered, but she made some lovely little porcelain babies after she went to her new home with a lavender rooster. I sure do miss that girl![]()
