Silkie thread!

I purchased an assortment of silkies through a hatchery in April and one little chick came out an oddball! Everyone else is white, buff, red, partridge and black except for the one little Grey? Silver partridge? What ever color she may be! Does anyone know? I do know with hatchery stock it's hard to get true colors, but I still love these babies a lot!

Good luck when you do! I hope your silkies like water more than mine! Lol. But Chai smells so good now after her bath and her little feet are so clean I wouldn't hesitate to bathe her again.

I have a hen the same color as that but her neck is pure white so I was thinking mine might be silver partridge or something.

That could be. I wonder if it had the chipmunk striping when it was younger? Either way it is very unique.

Adorable! I would say Chai is for sure buff.
