Yeah my hen likes the bath, and I haven't been able to get my cockerel into a proper bath yet. My hen didn't seem to be a fan of the blow-dry she stood there frozen.
Yeah I'm expecting them to end up being kinda yellowish.

I'm no expert on non-bearded Silkies but at 17 weeks I think the walnut comb would be much larger if this was a cockerel.Hi can someone tell me if my silkie is a hen or roo 17 weeks old

Oh my goodness that is too cute and funny!It really surprised us how much the different breeds of chickens liked their baths and blow-dry's. We have one Black Silkie that will tap on the floor fan when she wants us to turn it on and then she'll position herself in front of it to feel the breeze ruffle through her feathers. She does the same thing with the blow-dryer after a tush bath and stands still as she feels the gentle blower on her feathers!Here she is giving herself a "shower" under the Brite Tap nipple valve waterer...
...and then working the cool water down to her skin using her beak!
Chickens love playing in water! And many of them like to feel breezes and blow-dryers too! At our local County Fair a group of White Silkies in the farmyard piled against a big box fan to feel the hard breeze ruffling through their fluffy "fur"!!! The large fowl couldn't squeeze in to get a breeze so they stood at the back of the fan as it pulled air through from the back! There must've been 15 chickens crowded around that one big box fan,
