Splash or Lavender Silkie?

Do you know what the parent stock are ? This link may help .

Yeah that's how our olive eggers were when they hatched. Looked like little penguins but came in all black. I don't think this one will be black though. :)

I know it's not black, was showing the chick down patterns as an example... blues are a dilute of black and splash is double dilute, so they show same down patterns... replace the back parts with blue or light blue and that is why yours shows so much yellow, like the far right chick in the pic...

@RavynFallen since your responding to color questions, do you think the photo I posted is of a Splash or Lavender Silkie? I know there's really no way of knowing for sure until they feather or fur out but I would like an idea of what you think the little one is. You seem to be knowledgable with color genetics.

Aww sorry I misunderstood what you were saying lol. My little guy is sick again so my brain is a bit foggy from lack of sleep. Thanks so much for your help. The whole color genetics thing can be difficult to understand when your just starting out. :)

I don't need to hatch more birds this year, I don't need to hatch more birds this year...

Anybody ever bought from Magnolia silkies?

Your resolve is as impressive as mine... Oh wait, I have no resolve! I am hatching away. I have 12 due in a week and 21 the next week. Hoping for paint babies and hopefully a paint showgirl.

Magnolia silkies are beautiful but too far for me.

I am hoping someone can help me, we have 2 Silkies that are about 6 months old. We found out about 2 months ago that the white one is a Roo. Last week I heard our Blue Silkie start crowing, to me and everything I have read she doesn't look like a Roo. HELP!!!
