Silkie thread!

I hope they do I am keeping them in the run for my on state of mind even know the hawk picking her up I think was worse on me and her!! she's my littlest and I think the only one that even knew it happened! when I took her back to the run she walked around crying until she was sure everyone was accounted for!!

Chickens are just so sweet -- especially Silkies. They are 2 pounds of sweetness overload! I hate to think of anything bad happening to them.

No worries. That is absolutely horrid for that poor bird. I'm so sorry. Kinda scary that the other chickens could get that carried away.

Wow, you guys move fast on this thread at times.

Just hatched some cuties. Two blues and a splash. Going to set more eggs on Monday. :)

Non bearded..and a dolly!

Not much you can do to ..make .. them go broody. It's just in them. I do know this though, they will go broody when you aren't wanting a broody. Yep. :)

Found out today that my partridge sizzle is a male... Got a new silver laced polish 3 days ago and they ended up in same area. Fight ensued and sizzle ended up chasing the silver laced around.

Hi guys been a while since I posted, but I have a question so far I have only two Silkie hens laying eggs and one fertile Roo that is mating them and I have hatched out this chick does anyone know what color she or he is, I will also post the parents, the moms are a partridge and the other mom is a black or dark blue with red leakage on chest. And the daddy is a buff Roo, I did hatch out one other chick from the partridge hen and it came out buff, But it did not make it because it was small. so I am thinking it's the black hens chick but I just wanna know what color it might be?

The Chick ( WHAT COLOR )
