Your boys are lovely, as they get older you may notice some ribbons in the tail and saddle feathers. The few hard feathers at the wing tips are referred to as ' osprey ' feathers.

I can't get any pictures to post.
Look in the center & towards the bottom of the tail. They look kinda shiny & feel slightly different than the fluff.
I will try to post a pic of Snaps. He's white

The adult tail feathers on the roosters feel a bit stiffer and can be noticeably different from the hen. Even on my 6 week olds there is a difference in the stiffness of the new feather shafts where they are just starting to get their big boy feathers in.

It can also be visible.

This cockerel is almost 16 weeks. The tail is very noticeable but not adult level

she should have some of her crest coming in by now, mine had theirs coming in at 3 weeks

I agree, nor a pure silkie. Even my silkie/silver spangled hamburg mix has a crest.

That's what all my silkie x EE crosses looked like on the crest. Wasn't much of one, but they had it
