Is there a way to get my silkie boys to crow less? I use no-crow collars, but they still manage to be loud. Any tips that don't involve eating or otherwise removing them from me would be greatly appreciated. 

I actually had a boy that DIDN'T crow, but he passed on, so I have two screechy boys to worry about.

I have a group of silkie roosters and I'm like you I wish I could get them to crow less. It's like when they get started they just crow and crow and crow. If you figure something out I would love to try it also cause I enjoy my boys I call them the ninjas cause they run the yard and even have control over my large roosters.

Here's one of ours. I believe she is around 3 weeks old. She is just a Tsc chick but we are hoping it's a female and we are hoping she grows up cute! She is going through an awkward phase right now lol

Hi all.
I'm a newbie to byc and this is my first post. I am from South Africa and have a beautiful bunch of silkies that I would like to share with you guys. I've build up to having over 20 now and I'm getting huge amounts of eggs every month. I really struggle with my hatching my eggs, but I will post another thread with all my questions about it.

This little one is almost 2 months old now. Still not sure on gender and no one knew what to call the color so my hubby and I have named the chick Birch. It got its name because it coloring looks like a birch tree and so we have called the coloring of this little silkie birch at well. We are planing to breed for this color now with hopes of getting it a regonized color in the future. These Photos are from a month ago almost will take new photos today

One of the girls I hatched from some of Ravyn's eggs..she's a beauty. I have already clipped around the eyes once, did it again after this photo. She can see again. Love her!
