Silkie thread!

Looks like white, blue, black, and splash from the pictures. I could be wrong on the white. What colors did the seller advertise?

Splash looks like white with an odd tinting to it. It's part of the blue/black/splash breeding. They are all genetically black, even if splash looks white or light grey with dark blue spots. Blue is an incomplete dominant gene that modifies black. No copy gives black. One copy gives blue. Two copies give splash.
Thank you for the answer :) the seller advertised all her silkies are kept together so she doesn't know what I would get. She has white, black , different splash colors and buff. So I guess it's a mystery lol

Wanted to let everyone know that I have a bunch of grow outs I am doing and will have pullets and cockerels for sale later this fall in all sorts of colors. I am NPIP in NY so can ship. Will keep you all posted.
Too bad I'm in Canada (Ontario)! I'm guessing you can't ship across the border.

Just thought I would post an update on my little growing fluffballs. They've almost stopped cheeping now and they're developing a vocabulary of new sounds. I always laugh at the noise they make when I put their greens dish down, a sort of "bawwwwk?" I never hear them make that sound at any other time.

They are still growing their feathers in, especially their crests. I haven't seen much comb development yet, they still have a "divot" where the comb will be. They love it when I gently "preen" their new pin feathers. They're getting a lot tamer. The white one snuggles right down in my lap, while the partridge prefers to perch on my arm like a bizarre falcon. I feed them a bit of seed from my palm when I hold them now. They come to the side of the pen and follow me when I pass by, and they run over when I put my hand in their pen. The white one is still up to his kooky antics (last time I mentioned he was climbing up inside his feeder to sleep). Now after I cover their pen at night, he has taken to poking his head out through the bars underneath the cover, to peer around. I'll have to remember to get a pic next time he does it.

Note: I cover them because they live in my bedroom and it keeps them from making noise too early. They probably don't need it, but I keep other birds in there and they DO make a lot of early morning noise if I don't cover them.

Here are a couple of pics I took today

I think girl for both. The partridge is female coloring.

Female on left, male on right. This is actually the most girly looking boy in this batch. My boys tend to be lighter than the girls in their first feathers, then molt in the black feathers. Other boys in this hatch have already started getting a few of the black in, but won't really start for a few weeks.

The chick was uncooperative. She's the same coloring as her older sister. 27 week difference in age. 8 weeks vs 35 weeks. I shouldn't be getting anymore of these. I removed the rooster throwing them. Lucky both were girls. They make nice photo subjects so can stay on in the oddball pen for my pictures.

I love your oddballs! Ever consider selling them, let me know. I like the odd colors as pets, hence why all my birds stay together and I don't separate colors into different pens.
