Silkie thread!

I lost one of the chicks last night the other hen pushed it out too. Maybe there was something wrong with it not sure but the other chick I gave her is fine this morning.

Hey guys! I know y’all havent heard from me in a while, but an update, and questions, are here!
1: What type of chicks are these? I got them from tractor supply, and I can’t tell!
2: I ordered more Silkie eggs, and I was wondering if I could put these chicks together with the new ones once these hatch...

All look like whites with gold gene, but one of them looks like a possible light partridge

Wet, wet, wet all silkies got rain washed today. You would think that they would know not to get so wet. That it's not good for them to get soaked down. Fortunately it is not going.to get that cold tonight.

I made all of mine stay in cause we got freezing rain and sleet. Still doing that this morning so in they stay.

I know they say its very hard to tell the sex of a silkie until they crow or lay an egg, these two are growing pretty fast and I see them running at each other all the time and chest bumping each other, does that always mean that they will be a rooster?

Doesn't always mean cockeral or roo but it's a good bet at their age and the way they are standing most likely boys. Closer pic of their combs could tell better.
