I have to many birds... lol silkies sizzles frizzled reg chickens bantams birds.

Happy day everyone! This Silkie hatched two days ago. The offspring of a white parent and grey parent. Surprised at the coloring as this is the only chick so far in the flock with this coloring. Would this be considered partridge?

In the winter when the ground is very very muddy do you guys keep your silkie in side the coop? I have a light inside for day time.

I put down lots and lots of straw here. Works well except for the two hens that try to dig to China.
