Silkie thread!

I think that if everything else is good, then I wouldn't cull just because of webbing on toes. They can still throw offspring with correct toes.

Okay. Thank you.

I had a couple chicks hatch with some webbing between the 4th and 5th toes and was wondering if I should sell them as pets now, or hold on to them and see what they turn out to look like.

Not sure what your asking here?

Do you feel the one you brought to the show is better or worse quality than the one you wanted to bring?
Do you understand the chickenstock thing?

As far as chickenstock, I KNOW WHAT IT IS! and NO I'm not going.

The spot she filled was for a call duck that was entered.

And as far as Puffy goes, she is the Grand Dame of our farm.
She has won

She was retired after these shows, and after a year of being in the breeder pen, got a bath the day before and went to the York show to win Reserve Of Breed against some Very nice birds. Not bad for an old lady.

So as far as I'm concerned, she is about as close to perfect as you can get. She has won over & over again, against birds from all over under numerous judges. I consider a bird worth breeding that can prove itself under so many judges. That is why the hens I use have GOT to prove themselves or they go!

Well I just had to come one here and show you what gift I was given today.

I had to bring her in because of the roo killing two chicks that hatched yesterday.

These are myself and my wifes first chickens. I am enjoying them, she is partial to the splashes and I like the partridges.
