Hatched out some babies yesterday. Woot! Only blues and splashes...I was hoping for a few blacks too. Oh well, maybe next time. I will post pictures in a few days. I just love silkie babies;-)

Hi! I am moving to Vista CA from Bolton mA and have to give my silkies to a good neighbor. I will be getting more in CA. I am planning on going to Norco to a breeder. Does anyone live near Vista with silkies? I didnt want to trek them across country. I love them so much- they are the best little things ever!!!

Hi All..............
Question...I know I've read on this thread that you can't tell sex of a Silkie until it either crows or lays an egg. I have 8 blues....I noticed...approx 12 wks old.....that some of them seem to be growing wattles...and pretty turq ear lobes. The ones growing wattles...are they boys ????????
