She's very pretty! If I wasn't busy with the paint auctions, I would have tried to get her!

I ended up winning the paint cockerel. So excited and can't wait to see him in person.

MeettheFlokers...

Below is what got us into silkies. We never intended to have them but had a bad hatch with only one chick and had to find same age companions quickly and silkies were it. Have no idea of the quality, but he's a cute guy regardless. I think he's a cross between a red roo and a partridge hen. If I got a red hen, would the resulting chicks be 50/50 solid red / partridge red?

Here's Gonzo:

here is a pic of my others- they are special needs, so are purely pets- the little black pullet is Noel, haven't come up with names for the other two yet-

Elana - I'm so happy with him. Thank you so much! Dylan, the ginger red silkie is doing great!

He's named after my beautiful red husky, Dylan, who past away a few years ago.

Can you look at Gonzo and tell me if I bred him to a red hen if I'd get 50/50 solid red / partridge chicks?

I really like this red color. Who has nice red silkie hens for sale?
