The Easter Bunny visited my coops yesterday. My favorite black silky roo just loved getting in the picture. He said it would be good for his image with his hens to see him on facebook and BYC. He is a black split lavender from Darling Farms and Three Cedars....personality plus and a beauty too!

Some of the Partridge Im seeing are more blue.. and some more the traditional brown. Are there blue partridge and normal ones?

Is anyone going to the show in Alabama next month? I've been thinking about taking my daughter.....she's gone crazy for this show stuff! Haha! I have a feeling that we will be joining 4H, she's already in FFA, ect. She really wants to learn how to do showmanship and prep one for show. I can't help her!

Looks like a bad Red or a Bad Partridge.. could it be a cross from those 2 colors? Now when I say bad, don't take offence.. Not ever chicken has perfect color.. I show rabbits and a black with to many white hairs is a bad black, not a bad rabbit.. so.. your bird maybe very nice.. just has a muddy color if its red, or not enough Partridge if its a Partridge..

Teresaann24 anything going on in the Kentucky area next month or in May? I'm planning a trip home hoping to find a show or something when I go. Thinking I could drive to Indiana, Ohio or Tennessee if I can find something worth the drive. Maybe even W. Virginia I don't think that's too far away from central KY.
