Anyone have any idea what color pattern this is? First pic is newly hatched, second is about a month or so old.

look better pic or my partridge or red boy might use him one year on my partridge hen if i cannt find better, what do red silkies look like i keep hearing might be red but havent seen one to say ya that a red

Some ppl like to cross them with other breeds, like frizzles, polish, etc.?

Thanks he is the most friendly. I will save my pennies if I want better quality. Is he what you would get from a hatchery or is he breeding done wrong?

Looks like a typical hatchery bird. Looks like a pure bred just poor quality.
