How bizarre! They look "webbed"?? Have you ever had this happen before? Is it an incubation thing, or genetic??

Yes, I know I'd have to test mate them just to see if it popped up again. If it did, I think I would probably cull them from the flock. They'd be nice pets for someone...

Did you ask the breeder about this??

Ok just a question...not a silkie owner but I am seriously considering getting at least one. How do silkies fare in hotter climates? I have a marans pullet with feathered feet and she is always panting when it gets warm. She pants well into the night while the others stop once it gets cooler (at night). Thanks for responses in advance.
