Creeper, is its own gene (Japanese have it), so lets call it recessive, not creaper.

Yellow skin is recessive. However, it is a DIFFERENT gene than the gene that causes black skin (Fm), and the gene that inhibits or allows melanin in the leg skin (Id). Id is sex-linked, and incompletely dominant. Meaning that two copies of the gene are better at inhibiting or allowing) dermal melanin that is one copy. Plumage colour also affects leg colour.

http://www.edelras.nl/chickengenetics/mutations2.html#gen_mut_leg has a good discussion.

The color is called Morehead and is being worked on in Europe to be standardized.

I think it is Moor, not More. But I am not sure whether the penciling is a part of it; it's been awhile since I looked at the sites (and photos) telling about it.

According to the European website
https://sites.google.com/site/zijde...out-chicken-color-genetics-heritage/moreheads

They call it Morehead, so since these breeders are working with this color & have coined the phrase, I just used their spelling.
