Question! My eggs are going into lockdown tomorrow morning. Has anyone ever used muffin/cupcake papers to set each egg in to make clean up easier. Probably to flimsy. I also thought of using extra small coffee pot filters. What do ya all think?

At around what age should I start being able to tell a difference in my silkie's gender? Are they like other chickens and if Roo crow will start about 14-18 weeks? Ect...? Im impatient! LOL
