They were just recognized by the APA last year. There are lavenders out there, but good ones are harder to come by. They are not SUPER rate anymore, but they are nowhere as prevalent as the common colors like blue, splash, white, etc. Here is a link to the lavender thread on here...lots of awesome info if you have some reading time

When I got home from errands i believed that she may have drank and ate a little......Then i finally saw her poop, brown and white looked normal..i gave her some save a chick even though she fought me a little. Took her outside and she walked a few steps and chirped at the passing cars...she just doesnt want to move around she wants to lay with her head tucked like shes napping. here heat feels good....she still keeps her eyes shut most of the time....maybe she is semi-blind or maybe lazy or maybe depressed lol..i hate being a crazy worried chicken momma

I would keep trying to put a little of the chick saver with a dropper just on her beak and she will swallow. I did it about 4 times a day for a couple of days and she has been fine to this day. She may also get very limp and drowsy as it gets a little darker because it is her natural time to go to sleep. Mine fell asleep in my lap and was like a wet dish rag. I put her in a dog kennel with some water and food and thought she would be dead in the morning. She was bright and ready to go the next morning. The electrolytes really help them perk up. Good luck and let us all know.
