I would also suggest another silkie. I started out with a few oeg hens, then got my silkies, and have since added a isa brown hen to the coop. Suprisingly they are all getting along fine! But I'm sure the silkie would love a friend.

Hey another question- When do silkies start getting louder and not chirping like a chick!? Its 6 months old and waiting to see if it is gonna crow like a rooster or what! It still has a tiny voice.
