ooh! yeah, my chicken has hatched on the 18th day!
its mother is a silver campine and its father is mutt.

[The Accidental Coop]

Thank you for your thoughts! I am afraid I may have three roos in the group. I went to the local 'Poultry Master' a month ago for 3 pullets and he talked me into taking 8 straight run chicks. The deal was I would pay him a discount price for all of the chicks and in 8 weeks he would come to my house (save me the trip) to weed out any roosters.
So....Blinded by their cuteness....I said yes

Yes fellow peeps....On my way home I could not believe I fell for it either. Why did they have to be soooo cute!

Mine are going to hatch soon, cause my other hen is getting jealous.

i am bit worried. i have moved my silkies to another pen and the big white fella has had a huge fight with carey the mutt.
he blood on him. so through the night i am worried about them sneaking out through thr night and coming to a horrible scene!
oooh! i hope everything is going to be okay. that carey has a bit of game in him so that isn't good!
carey is living with his son, romeo, it was funny. carey and chukka were fluffing thier feathers at each other so romeo went and hopped on all the girls!

sneaky fella! but romeo and carey, even being father and son and living together still aren't that friendly. oh wel...
