Cool. All 7 Partridges that hatched all were marked the same, looking like chipmunks. Two have since turned a dark, solid Blue. Frankie is very red, but has a darker tail coming in. The other 4 are Partridge and I think Blue Partridge. They are all 14 weeks today, so I know how much they can change with age, can't wait to see what they turn out like. I will really try to get pics tomorrow of these guys, and some of the others. It was coop/run cleaning day here today, and the Silkies were in a total tizzy!

You probably already know this, but the lav/splits can hatch out chipmunk and turn blue or black.
This little guy is now 7 weeks and is solid black or blue, not sure which!

why would they turn soilid colors ive never heard of this if there a lavender split the lavender gene is just hidden there with no efect on the color un till u breed it to a lavender split or lavender
