Yoda looks like a girl. Is the feathers on the notch all nice and uniformed like a cotton ball. Or are there streamers like feathers going crazy everywhere. Usually the girl silkie has a nice top notch and the boy has a crazy notch that's how I can tell. Plus as the rooster gets older his comb gets a little fatter and his wattles come in.

I suppose it is salmon red because for only on that place. This salmon red chest is typical for e+/e+ based hens. Normally Splash are based on E/E.
