agreed...when was the last time the incubator was giving a thorough cleaning? bacteria from the previous hatch, dirty/pooed on eggs or a bad egg seeping out bacteria from a deceased embryo can contaminate the incubator and cause a bad hatch. Also time of year can be a difference too.

Also things just happen - especially with shipped eggs you're less likely to have reliable hatches.
 
Just unwrapped my shipped eggs which I finally managed to wrangle away from the post office!

The good news is all but one of the two dozen eggs look to be okay...though I'll feel better when I check air sacks tomorrow. Lots of paint eggs, several lavender, two porcelain (it would be three but that was the cracked egg) plus some buffs, partridge and white. Hoping, hoping, hoping for a good hatch despite their journeying! Send me good vibes as I set these, please!

Some of the "old-timers" might suggest you were actually doing them a favour by hand-turning. I had one guy insist opening the incubator several times a day was a good thing because it supplied more oxygen to the eggs. Now that you are using a turner, you probably didn't open the incubator nearly as much.

Next time maybe you could try incubating with the plugs out or air holes open?
 
thanks everyone the little one has perked up some after placing a towel for it to cuddle with after seperating it plus giving it electrilights i did not open incubator as much as i did when hand turning. the incubator i used this time is a new one never used before maybe the temp droped or spiked when i was not home to see it i will try to post pictures later tonight of the 4
 
well just got back from basball practice with my son and found the one that was weak stating to get better on its side cool to the touch and has been stepped on by the other 3 really bad so now she or he has went down hill again not sure what to do if no better later tonight after seperating it again then i will have husband take her or him out of their pain and suffering i just hate this everytime it looks like i got a paint it is alway weak and does not make it
